I teach both private and group lessons and run a variety of clinics here at Rydal Mount Stables but I can also arrange regular lessons and clinics at other venues to suit.

Instruction in dressage, show jumping and cross country. Having worked with some of the most accomplished riders in the UK and Germany, I have gained knowledge and experience from the best, and I am passionate about passing this onto my clients. 
Test riding As a British Dressage recognised trainer and judge I am able to help you ride your tests with more confidence and systematically improve your dressage marks.  
BHS Exam Training Being a qualified BHSII means that I  have worked my way through the BHS exam system.  I can offer expert guidance and training from theory through to practical, covering everything you need to know for the exam.  I am also a recognised trainer and assessor for the BHS Challenge awards.  
Nutritional Advice Through years of experience with NAF as a nutritional advisor and more recently as a college lecturer in Equine Nutrition,  I can advise on what can be such a daunting and confusing subject.
Training or exercising your horse This service can be carried out for any type of horse for various reasons, for example:
you want to enter competitions and need the horse trained and developed for the type of competition you are aspiring towards
you don't have the time to school your own horse
schooling young horses in flatwork or jumping
you need your horse ready for competition at the start of school holidays
your horse needs fitness training. Muscle tone and strength can be developed to meet your riding requirements
you need your horse schooled to correct any problems that your are encountering with them
your already well schooled horse needs its training maintained whilst you are away
